The service will also be streamed online here.

Please be advised that the service will include singing, which is regarded as a higher risk activity with regards to the spread of Covid-19. All who wish to sing (other than Music Director and song leaders in the front row) are asked to wear a facemask for the duration of the service.

Order of Service for September 6, 2020

Call to Worship (1 John 4, John 15)

Come to the table of grace,
for Christ is the vine, and we are the branches.
Come, Holy Spirit, come.
Come to the table of love,
for whoever does not love does not know God.
Come, Holy Spirit, come.
Come to the table of blessing,
for Christ is here to abide in us as we abide in him.
Come, Holy Spirit, come.

Announcements

  • Congregational Singing: You are asked to wear a mask while singing (front row and Music Director excepted). If you find singing with a cloth mask difficult we encourage you to experiment with a paper mask. Those who are not masked can hum!
  • Communion: We will be celebrating communion today. Those attending on-site will be provided with a prepackaged communion wafer/juice set as we did in August. Those joining us at home are invited to prepare for this service with their own bread and juice.
  • Coffee & Conversation: Refreshments will be available outside the main entrance following the service. Please remember to respect physical distances.
  • Sunday Service Sign-up: We anticipate more people wanting to attend church in September so we are asking you to sign up for those Sunday services you wish to attend. A sign-up will be available at the side entrance. Attendance will be capped at 50 as per government regulations.
  • Bible Study: Steve will host a zoom study on the Bible text for the upcoming Sunday on Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
  • Joint Board Session Meeting: We will be meeting this Wednesday at 7:00 pm on Zoom to discuss reopening the church and the installation of the new projector and screen.
