During the third week in November children meet at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church to fill up empty boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, notes and photos. These boxes are collected and distributed by Operation Christmas Child to children in desperate situations in 100 countries throughout the world.

This past year 28 children filled 51 boxes.

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church has been the collection centre for Kamloops for the last 3 years, with Kamloops churches and businesses sending 2,600 per year... adding to the Canadian total of 727,000 in 2015... and a world-wide collection of 10 million!

In 2014 Hallie MacDonald went with a delivery team to Senegal, Africa delivering 1400 boxes at seven different locations. Local churches sponsored parties that included the gospel message, songs and games. The boxes were then presented to shrieks of joy and disbelief.
