World Day of Prayer

The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement that brings Christians of many traditions together to observe a common day of prayer each year. Through preparation and participation in the worship service, we can learn how our brothers and sisters of other countries, languages and cultures understand the Biblical passages in their context even as we work together with our local ecumenical partners.

This year St. Andrew's is hosting the afternoon World Day of Prayer Gathering in Kamloops (the evening service is being hosted by Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 7:00pm). The nation in focus for this year's World Day of Prayer is Mozambique.
