Weekly Bible Studies: Pastor Steve's mid-week online study resumes this coming Wednesday at 1:00 pm.
Women's Bible Study: The group's study on Jesus' 'Sermon on the Mount' continues Thursday at 11:30 at the church. Newcomers are welcome. Bring a bag lunch!
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation/Orange Shirt Day: This Friday we honour Survivors of Residential Schools, children who died because of Residential Schools and members of their families. The book chosen for our Truth and Reconciliation book study is Five Little Indians, by Michelle Good. It is a short read but has disturbing content, so please read at your own pace, and talk to someone if it evokes your own personal experiences of trauma. Please speak to Jarrett if you would like to join in this study. Two discussion sessions will be held at the Public Library (upstairs community meeting room) on October 11/25 from 4:00-5:30 pm.
Family & Friends Portraits: Today we have Taqueesha Lightfoot with us, to take photos of you and your family/friends following the service. This service is being offered at no cost and will help us update our church directory.
Prints in Lower Hall: Acrylic prints from wild-fire salvaged trees have been on display in the Lower Hall since May and will remain only for a limited time. If you are interested in purchasing one, contact info is availabe.
