Some Thoughts On Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID)

In the obituary section we are more frequently seeing the phrase "he/she finished life on his/her own terms". Some of us know people who have chosen to hasten their end with medical assistance, and have heard others talk about it. While Medical Assistance in Death (MAID) has expanded people's options it has also created ethical quandries. As people who follow the one declared as both "resurrection and life" how are we to understand this new practise?
