Welcome to St. Andrew’s! We’d love for you to join us this Sunday. While our services are rooted in tradition, there is also heartfelt modern music and the occasional joyful "Amen!" Together, we dive deep into Holy Scripture for guidance and lift our personal prayers before God. Come as you are—no need to dress up. Sit wherever you feel comfortable, and if you’d like, stay after the service for coffee and conversation. We’d love to get to know you!
In addition to attending in person, you can stream the service live on Facebook HERE or on our website HERE.
Welcome to today’s worship leaders, Lea, Marion D, and Curtis. Miranda is our elder, and Mandy is our reader.
Order of Service
Welcome
Call to Worship (Psalm 98)
O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvellous things!
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
Break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
For the Lord is coming to judge and to save.
Carol: "Angels We Have Heard On High" (147) Barnes, Chadwick
Opening Prayers
Candle Lighting
Today we light the fourth candle of Advent, the Candle of Joy.
The angel said to the shepherds, “Do not be afraid.
I bring you good news of great joy for all people.”
This joy is not of our making—it is God’s gift.
Fill us with the joy of Christ, our Saviour.
Come, Lord Jesus—let Your joy shine in us and through us.
The candle is lit.
